It works.
But does it make sense?

Your next customer is seeing it for the first time. A confusing label. A dead end on mobile. One extra step before the good part. Meerkat helps you spot the small things that get in the way, before you ship them.

Built for teams
that ship weekly.

Runs are cheap. The memory between them is the point.

Saved flows
Keep the tasks that matter and run them by name after every release. Every edit is versioned.
Findings that remember
Triage, assign, mark known or fixed. Later runs recognise the same problem, and a fixed one that comes back is flagged as a regression.
Before and after
Each run compares itself with the previous run of the same flow: fixed, still there, new.
Linear and workspaces
Send a finding to Linear with its screenshots and fix. Invite the team; products, runs and findings are shared.

A few good questions.

Is this a replacement for talking to users?+

No. A Meerkat report comes from AI personas, not from research with human participants. It helps surface friction worth investigating, so you can make better use of your time with real users.

What does “simulation” mean here?+

AI personas attempt tasks in your actual product using a browser. You get evidence of what they did, where they stalled, and what could improve. Their behavior is simulated; the interface and the actions are real. This complements research with real customers.

What can I test?+

Browser-based journeys such as sign-up, onboarding, checkout, and first visits. Use a template or describe a custom task. For flows behind a login, you can sign in yourself before handing the browser to a persona.

Should I use my live site or staging?+

Use staging for flows that create accounts, place orders, or change data. The personas take real actions in a browser. Screenshots are stored with the report and sent to the model, so use test accounts without sensitive customer data.
